Castle Hukvaldy
One of the largest Moravian castle ruins. The castle from 13th century guarded the route to Poland. For several centuries it used to be a property of bishops, later of archbishops, from Olomouc. In the 15th century it was enlarged and modified, in the 16th century a Renaissance palace was built and the fortification, which was rebuilt in Baroque style during Thirty Years´ War.
